Nia® Moving to Heal Classes
Nia has always been a healing practice, using dance and expression to heal our bodies, minds and spirits. Nia is also for everyone, regardless of age or ability. The Nia Moving to Heal classes are designed for those who need a simpler, slower approach to doing Nia. If you are recovering from an injury or dealing with a chronic condition, these classes will make you feel better. Along with body education, the classes provide ample movement to stimulate the whole body with the joy of movement and music. Students see improvements in their flexibility, agility, mobility, stability and strength within a few classes. Perhaps best of all, spirits are lifted as we come together in community and celebrate with each class.

Holly has been teaching Nia Moving to Heal in retirement communities and memory care centers for the last 3 years. With both standing and seated formats, Nia M2H can be adapted to any population, for any condition. Holly loves seeing the spark of joy light up in her students' eyes as they dance to the music with songs of their times. Conversation, education, laughter, movement and more are all part of the Nia M2H experience. Even the smallest movement is seen as a success.
